It's almost weekend. This is just going to be one of those rambling catch up posts as I've had no time to prepare what I'd had in mind.
I've recently set myself a short term goals list to see if I can actually achieve any. On this said list are things such as - Go running twice a week. Read *force myself to exercise more! I've got terribly lazy about keeping fit and I blame learning to drive. As fabulous as it is to leap into the car and go, my figure is not thanking me for it. At all.
Which brings me to my second goal - Try to eat more healthily. I'm going to look into some Slimming World recipes as I've seen amazing results from my SW friends!
Thirdly, I'm going to try to take LOADS of blog photos between now and Christmas. As I type this, my new iPhone is currently making it's way across the UK. It's due to arrive tomorrow and I'm hugely excited. I've gone for an upgrade with EE and I've chosen the Rose Gold iPhone SE. I'm really hoping that having a better quality phone will mean better blog photos so I can up my game. Watch this space...
My fourth goal is going to be more of a hurdle. I really want to overcome some of my social anxiety and get out and about a bit more. Hek maybe I might even get REALLY brave and go on a date! Time will tell. My brother got tickets for us to see the musical 9-5 tomorrow evening. I'm a huge Dolly Parton fan (as is he) and I believe she even wrote the music and lyrics so it should be an excellent show. He's also persuaded me to go into the city afterwards for a few drinks. Needless to say, I'm both excited and anxious about the evening but I'll report back in the future with how my anxiety levels coped. Sometimes I guess you have to step out of your comfort zone right?
Have any of you set yourself short term goals lately? Let me know in the comments! Until next time...

These are a great bunch of goals, many things I should incorporate into my November as well (*ahem* such as the exercise..) haha. My goals for november is to get into reading more as I have become so lazy with reading. I'm going to compile a book list and read, read, read!
ReplyDeleteAm loving your blog girly! Holly x | https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/chronicles-holly-13610625
Thank you Holly! Such a lovely comment. I'm curious to know what books are on your list! Xx
DeleteGreat goals, hun, and I know you'll smash them! I've found learning to drive has made me healthier, oddly. I now leave the house more than I did before, and because my parking skills are lacking I park further away in car parks, where it's quieter, and walik. Haha. Slimming world recipes are good, so are there frozen meals, and weight watchers frozen meals. I promise, it doesn't take like you're eating cardboard! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
ReplyDeleteHa ha story of my life! I always pick the easiest spots to park in because I'm awful at parallel parking or squeezing into tiny spaces!! Even though this usually means parking way further away than my passengers usually like! 😂 Xx
DeleteThese are really good goals - I hope you smashed them all and achieved everything you wanted too! X
ReplyDeleteThanks Kayleigh! I'm continuing these goals into December although I've had a few comments that I've lost weight! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Xx
