Learning to unwind after a stressful day isn't the easiest thing to do. I have trouble switching off at the best of times let alone after a slog of a day. My brain is on the go constantly. Imagine a computer with thirty browser tabs open all at once and voila, that's life inside my head! I have however been trying really hard of late to relax and take some time out.
A chunk of time in an evening is now set aside for watching TV with my mum. Essentials for this are a quality TV such as the Ultra HD TV Panasonic, PJ's, glass of wine and obviously my favourite TV shows. Annoyingly some have gone for their season break so while I wait ever patiently for their return, I thought I'd share my top four shows.
1. Supergirl
Although I find the opening credits super cheesy - 'I AM SUPERGIRL!' - I love this show! If you didn't see the latest series finale then look away now. I was gutted when they split super cute couple, Kara and Mon-El. If you recall, trace amounts of lead were released into Earth's atmosphere in a bid to save the planet from the Daxamites. This sadly made it impossible for Mon-El to stay on Earth and survive. I'm personally hoping that the Supergirl lot have got something up their sleeve and that they're planning on bringing him back for the new series. Time will tell, meanwhile I've got my fingers crossed!
2. Good Witch
If you haven't heard of this one then where have you been? I'd describe it as pure 'feel good' escapism with underlying messages of love and hope. The season three finale ended when Sam proposed to Cassie, huge yay in our house! Although there's been no confirmation of a season four, I'm hopeful that this show will be making it's way back onto our TV screens soon.
3. Greys Anatomy
If you've followed this blog since the beginning then you'll already know what a huge Grey's fan I am. Quick question... Who else is still reeling from the moment when Nathan found out that Megan was alive!? Poor Meredith. I can't wait to see where this particular story ventures next...
4. Gilmore Girls
I could quite possibly be the Gilmore Girls biggest fan. I love this show! The revival, 'A Year In The Life,' was literally the talk of December 2016. If you haven't seen this series, make sure you watch from the early days. I promise you won't be disappointed.
What are your favourite TV shows? I'll bet Stranger Things and 13 Reasons Why features on a lot of people's lists! I've yet to watch these but I plan to!
Until next time...
