Everyone wants to look and feel their best on a date, especially if it's a first! Here are a few pointers to get you feeling and looking your best before your big night!
A Few Days Before
So your online banter has progressed and you've finally agreed to meet. Yay! You're going on an actual date! Once you've got over the initial excitement, have a look through your wardrobe to see what you might wear. It's always a good idea to do this several days before the date just incase you decide you've nothing suitable, in which case you have time to organise a shopping trip or order something online.
The Night Before
I would always recommend doing any major 'prep' work the day or night before your date. Slap on a face mask whilst you shave your legs, exfoliate, shower and then apply fake tan. Don't forget the obligatory glass of wine and background music! I usually apply my nail polish too so I'm not last minute dot com the following day.
The Day Of
The big day has arrived and there's bound to be a few nerves. Relax with a (small) glass of wine. Obviously you don't want to be getting overly tipsy but a little glass may give you some dutch courage and will help to calm any butterflies.
Take the time to apply your makeup but don't go too OTT! Remember, you want your date to like you for who you are.
Put on some nice underwear, this doesn't mean I'm saying jump into bed with them, not at all, but I find that wearing some pretty or sexy lingerie really helps to boost my confidence. Finally, once you're dressed in your 'knock em' dead' outfit, spritz on some of your favourite perfume, grab your handbag and you're good to go!
