It's no secret that I love everything about weddings. If you've read my 'about me' or have been following me since day one, you'll know that I have always dreamed of opening a bridal shop with one of my closest friends, Zoë.
Getting married is something I hope to only do the once. It's surely one of the most important days of any girl's life, and for you guys too I hope. As such it needs to be out of this world!
Ask any bride to be how they're feeling and they'll usually come back with 'excited', 'nervous' and 'stressed.' It's not surprising really. There's so much that has to come together to make the day just perfect. Obviously factors like the weather can't be controlled but with enough preparation and organising, there's no reason why the rest of the day shouldn't go off without a hitch!

Have a trial for your hair and makeup and also book for the big day
Buy or order the rings
Organise accommodation for guests if required
Book the honeymoon
Arrange the hen party or ask one of your bridesmaids to do this
Buy gifts for your bridesmaids
Buy or make the favours
Choose centrepieces
Organise a wedding gift list - send this out with the invitation
Come up with a table plan and buy or make placecards
Book transport
Organise and print order of service
Consider wedding insurance
Arrange for your banns to be read
Write your vows if you've decided to come up with your own
Once all that's done, sit back, relax and enjoy your special day!
