*This is a collaborative post*
This time of year the nights are drawing in and the weather is getting colder and wetter. (Well it is here at any rate!) Most of us will be saving money ready for Christmas which of course means more nights in, usually curled up on the sofa. But being stuck inside doesn't have to be boring. If you're lost for some ideas then here are seven things to try on your gloomy autumn evenings.
Netflix Binge
Why not watch a movie or have a Netflix binge? A personal favourite of mine as many of you will already know is Gilmore Girls. I've also recently become a huge fan of Chesapeake Shores. This is definitely one to try!
Read A Good Book
Granted I don't read half as much as I used to. I just don't have the time now that blogging has taken over. But I'd recommend authors such as Marian Keyes, Sophie Kinsella and Paula Hawkins.
Play Online Games
Are you a Solitaire or Candy Crush fan? Or perhaps Bingo is more your thing? Playing online games does not necessarily mean that you have to gamble. You don't have to spend a penny if you don't want to as there's many games that don't even require a deposit.
If you do like to play online games then the Boomtown community is a fun and friendly place to visit. Here you can read the latest online gaming comparisons and see who has the best deals before you choose where to play.

Pamper Night
If you're in need of some relaxation, light a few candles, put on some tunes and give yourself a pamper evening. Apply some leave in conditioner or hair oil to your mid lengths and ends and then wrap your hair in a heated towel. Slap on a face mask and let it do it's thing whilst you paint your finger and toe nails. Don't forget to have a glass of Prosecco on hand.
Organise The Chaos
It doesn't have to be Spring to go on a cleaning spree. Gut your whole house or even just your bedroom. Throw out any clutter you've been hoarding and bag up any clothes that a charity shop would be grateful for. As a guide, if you're going through your wardrobe and you notice something you haven't worn in over twelve months, get rid!
Exercise
This doesn't mean you have to go on an all out gruelling routine. Just try a few squats, sit ups or planks. You'll feel rejuvenated and healthier for it. If you want something to really get your blood pumping, then why not try a workout DVD?
Blogging
I couldn't finish this post without suggesting the one thing I love to do the most...Blogging! If you haven't tried it then I definitely recommend giving it a go. Sure it's hard work at times but it's also so much fun.
