Have A Very Cosy Christmas*

I adore Christmas. You've surely heard me say this many times already this year but I just can't help it. I literally do wish it could be Christmas everyday! When people ask me why I love this season so much, I struggle to pinpoint one particular reason. Is it the decorations? The festive tunes? The social get togethers? The gift giving? The answer I suppose, is that it's all of this and more.

I simply love the feeling that I get this time of year because essentially, Christmas itself is a feeling for me. Those of you who love Crimbo just as much as I do will quite possibly understand and relate to what I mean by this. It's hard to put into words, but Christmas is a time that just makes me feel happy and giddy with excitement. It's a real feel good time of year where everything seems so much better and brighter. It certainly puts an added spring into my step.

Christmas is also a time when I love nothing more than curling up on a gorgeous, cosy sofa, the Christmas tree lights twinkling before me and of course, my favourite festive movies on the box. (White Christmas or Home Alone anyone?!)

This year come December 22nd, I'll be taking a full week off work doing just the above and I honestly can't wait. I'll be donning my new cosy pjs - thanks mum! - and grabbing some savoury treats, before cosying up on the sofa. Naturally I'll also be enjoying an obligatory glass of wine too. It would be rude not to at Christmas right? Sounds like absolute heaven on earth to me!

Speaking of curling up, Fishpools have some amazing sofas available which would be perfect for cosying up to your loved ones this Christmas. And if you're single, why not go all out and hog the whole thing?... Sprawl away! One of my personal favourites is the beautiful 'Woburn Corner' sofa pictured below. Although a little on the pricier side, this is one luxury sofa that I'd class as a worthwhile investment.

I work hard right? We all do. And as such I honestly think we all deserve something that little bit extra special for collapsing into at the end of a long, hard day. Not only is the Woburn beautiful to look at, but it's also covered in a luxurious mix of velvet and silk. In terms of class and comfort, what more could a girl ask for?

Why not treat yourself this Christmas? You know you deserve it! As for me? I might put this on my Christmas list. Santa would surely get it down the chimney right? :)
