Everyone
wants their wedding photographs to be perfect. After all, you’ve
spent ages planning your wedding,
picking out the perfect dress, the perfect venue, the perfect decor,
and, of course, the perfect partner, so it makes sense that you’d
want this to be captured so that you can remember it all forever. Of
course, a lot of the work is going to be down to the photographer
themselves, but there are a few things that you can do too. Here are
six ways that you can ensure you get the best wedding photos
possible.
1.
Do Your Research
I
know that this is an obvious tip, but it’s one that many couples
choose to ignore. Before choosing any random photographer, or worse
still, picking the cheapest one you can find, you need to do lots of
research. Look through their portfolio and testimonials, and make
sure that you like their style. If you don’t, then don’t try to
change them; Just look elsewhere.
2.
Remember Your Location
If
you’re travelling to Rome for your wedding, then make sure you find
the best Rome wedding photographer,
the same as with any other destination. There’s no point in paying
for travel and accommodation for someone local to you when those
abroad would know where to get the best pictures and can handle the
climate.
3.
Check Your Makeup
Always
make sure to do a hair and makeup trial before your wedding day, and
take a camera with you to snap some pictures. This will make sure
that your makeup and hair look just as great on screen as they do in
real life. You should keep your makeup and hair this way for an
entire day so that you can see how it lasts, and figure out if and
when you’ll need any touch-ups.
4.
Schedule The Day
You’ll
likely have a timeline for the day already, but make sure that you’ve
included times of the day where you’ll definitely want pictures to
be taken. Then, make sure that you schedule lots of time before the
pictures are due to be taken, so that, if anything happens to run
over, you won’t get stressed, and your photos can be taken on time.
5.
Know What You Want
There
are a few photos that wedding photographers almost always shoot, like
the first dance, the kiss at the altar, and walking out of the venue,
but there are going to be some that you want, that your photographer
won’t have thought of. It’s essential that you figure these out
before the wedding so that you don’t have to try and rush them all
just before your photographer leaves.

Relax And Have Fun
The
best wedding photos are the ones where the bride and group look
genuinely relaxed and happy, so stop stressing
and
enjoy yourself. The more you try to look happy, the less you really
will; It needs to look natural and honest, so just go with the flow,
and have as much fun as you possibly can.
You’re
going to cherish your wedding photos forever, so use the advice above
to get the best ones you can.

Great list. I'd be interested to know how many people actually do go for the cheaper option when it comes to photographers.
