Dating Ideas For The Suffolk Area*

If you're single and are lucky enough to live in Suffolk, you've got a whole host of opportunities for romantic dates right at your fingertips. Those who live in the beautiful Suffolk countryside can really make the most of idyllic, romantic walks. If you don't live in the area then I'd definitely recommend putting a visit on your to do list, obviously once it's safe to do so.

In todays post I'm going to suggest a few potential date ideas. Many of the venues are currently open and have taken precautions to make sure the they are Covid safe. If you don't fancy any of the suggestions below then why not take a look on Trip Advisor for more ideas? Enjoy!

RSPB - The Minsmere Nature Reserve, Suffolk.

For those who love wildlife and the great outdoors, this nature reserve may be your idea of the perfect date. Whilst wandering the grounds you'll have the opportunity to spot some of the rarest wildlife. If you take a look at their website you can search forthcoming events so you can plan in advance. They offer a real mix of things to do, from courses and classes to guided walks and day trips. If you're an avid bird watcher then The Minsmere Nature Reserve will be right up your street!

The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, Suffolk

If you fancy watching a panto this Christmas then look no further. Although the live performances have all sold out, you can still enjoy the panto experience virtually which makes this a great date idea for anyone who is currently restricted to virtual or online dating. If you don't have a date yet but want one, get yourself onto one of many dating sites such as dating agency Suffolk. The Snow Queen Rock 'N' Roll Panto is being live streamed from the 17th to the 24th December. Once you've booked your ticket, a link will be sent to you 48 hours before the show is due to start. Stockpile some snacks, grab a takeaway (and maybe a bottle of wine,) then sit back, relax, and enjoy a fun, festive date!

Pleasurewoods Hills - Family Theme Park, Lowestoft, Suffolk

Whilst I'm not a huge fan of rides, for some it's the perfect date idea. Pleasurewood Hills is a family based theme park which also features thrill rides. For those who love an adrenalin rush, definitely check out 'Wipeout' which is the only Vekoma Boomerang coaster in the UK. Other thrill rides include Cannonball Express, Fireball, Water Fun Factory and The Jolly Roger which is over 60 ft tall. Due to Covid, the theme park has taken extra precautions to ensure visitors are as protected as they can be. The park has been deep cleaned and enhanced cleaning will also be done throughout the day.
