'We hope our jewellery is an expression of who you are, where you've been, and where you are going.' Daisy London
Like many women the world over, I absolutely love jewellery, so when an opportunity arose to collaborate with the amazing Daisy London I leapt at the chance. Daisy London is a British jewellery brand who create beautiful everyday pieces rather than the 'throwaway' jewellery made from cheap metals that we so often see. With a passion for creating sustainable jewellery, all their pieces are made from 100% recycled 925 sterling silver. Their gold designs again are made from recycled silver but are plated in 18ct gold. This in itself was a major selling point for me. I've become so much more environmentally aware since having a child and I'm always on the lookout for eco-friendly brands that don't compromise on style, design or quality and Daisy London ticked all the right boxes. Can you believe that they are even Carbon Positive?? Amazing, and if this wasn't enough, when I dug a little deeper I also found out that Daisy London invest in projects that give back to and protect the planet such as via their plastic pledge. By this point you can imagine, I was seriously impressed and I hadn't even seen the jewellery up close yet.
After perusing the website, again seriously impressed, I placed an order and was delighted to receive my jewellery just a couple of days later. It had been carefully and thoughtfully packaged to ensure safe transit and I loved that the brand had included both a personal note and the Daisy Times magazine. The necklaces came in beautiful, elegant gift boxes - Clean, white and simple, which were then wrapped in tissue paper. Whilst I usually like to avoid excess packaging and wrapping, I also appreciate how nice it is to have extra special presentation especially when giving jewellery as a gift. However, for all those who are trying to really do there bit for the eco system, there is a minimal packaging option when ordering.

The Jewellery
The Estee Lalonde Unity Ring Necklace pictured below is 18ct gold plated onto 100% recycled sterling silver. I personally love a long statement chain and this one - which is adjustable - features a hanging 'organic' ring pendant which is apparently symbolic of togetherness and sisterhood. It has a vintage feel and would be a great addition to a jewellery collection. It would also make a beautiful gift for a loved one whether it be for a friend, sister, mother, mother-in-law, girlfriend or grandma. I absolutely love this necklace and it's definitely a personal favourite.
The second necklace, perfect for every day wear, is this beautiful contemporary take on a classic stacked T bar and is made from 100% recycled sterling silver. Again this would be a fantastic addition to any collection. It has a unique textured bobble chain which I adore! This necklace would make the perfect gift for a friend or sister, in fact I may very well gift my sister one of these on her next birthday.
Pictured below are the Green
Aventurine Healing Stone Ring and the Rose
Quartz Healing Stone Ring, both 18ct gold plated onto 100% recycled sterling silver. I don't wear many rings but I do love these. They can be stacked or worn on their own. I don't know a lot about semi-precious stones so I had a nosey and apparently the Aventurine is the luckiest of all the crystals, bringing confidence and prosperity. The Rose Quartz is meant to attract positive loving vibes. These rings came in super cute drawstring pouches and I absolutely love them. My little girl has already decided she wants to keep the pink one!
There is definitely something unique and extra special about Daisy London. I can't put my finger on one specific because there really is a combination of factors... The excellent customer service, the outstanding website, the presentation, the gorgeous jewellery itself, the fact that the jewellery is made sustainably... Goodness there really are so many positives. One thing I do know is that given a choice to buy my jewellery from a company who makes beautiful jewellery and who goes that extra mile for the planet, versus a company who simply doesn't... Well, I know whose team I'll be on.
I highly recommend popping on over to the Daisy London website where you can check out the 'How To' guides, the lookbooks, the Monday Masterclasses, more about what they do and of course, the jewellery.
