We've reached that time of year again, the school summer holidays are fast approaching and as a teaching assistant myself, I can't wait for several weeks off!
Parents and guardians from all over the UK will be looking for little gifts to give teachers and teaching assistants as a way of saying thank you for helping to educate and nuture their little ones. Of course there's all the usual gift ideas, 'Best Teacher' mugs, personalised tote bags, keyrings, chocolates etc etc, but how about gifting a selection box of delicious brownies instead?
I was recently gifted a selection of brownies from Chummy's Bakery and oh my gosh they were delicious. Each brownie was soft and gooey in the centre with a slight crunch on the outside, the perfect brownie texture. I ate mine with a good old cup of tea.
They came beautifully packaged as you can see from the photos below, and as everything could be recycled that was a real plus in my books. Wrapped in greaseproof paper and packed with organic shredded paper, the packaging is bio-degradable making it super eco-friendly.
I love that Chummy's Bakery provide a Brownie Delivery service and if you pop on over to the website at the moment, there's 10% off when you sign up to their newsletter. In my selection box I received six brownies; Original Recipe, Salted Caramel, Lotus Biscuit, Oreo, Chocolate Orange and Kinder. My favourite was definitely the Original Recipe but my daughter loved the Chocolate Orange, she said it was yummy. It's safe to say they didn't last long in our house!
Chummy's Bakery also offer a selection
of cookies, blondies, rocky roads and cupcakes which all look amazing. I
want to try the blondies next.
Although they may seem a little on the pricey side in this current economic climate, these brownies definitely have a luxury taste and apperance about them which makes them the perfect gift or treat either for yourself or someone you know.
Head on over to their website for yourself and check out all their delicious sweet treats.
